Objectives
The global Director of intrapreneurship who is Spyre’s main client was looking to establish a global program that involves the entire workforce and creates regular opportunities for every employee to come up with innovative ideas and drive such ideas forward.
Approach
Orbia’s Launchpad program was founded and it is based on innovation cycles that take about 3 months to run at the end of which, a collection of funded experiments are approved by the management team. The Orbia corporation consists of several companies and the corporate innovation program oversees such Launchpad cycles that are run at a company level, applying Spyre’s Corporate Venture Blueprint tool and its Innovation infrastructure principles. These activities were established as part of the Design Innovation Infrastructure service.
The ultimate goal of these activities is to deploy innovative projects at scale in order to generate a tangible impact on the corporation’s revenues and profits.
In addition, a global thriving community of innovation champions is trained twice a year with additional activities offered throughout the year, positioning this community as a prestigious element that employees aspire to be part of. This is based on Spyre’s Innovation Leaders Community Management service. The ultimate goal of this activity is to have those champions serve as change agents and spread a culture of innovation at a global level.
